100 years since the dedication of our church.
One hundred years since our church was dedicated in 1928 — built, like everything here, by generations who gave what they could.
The date is fixed, and the work has to come first. A century-old church and a busy school need care that cannot be deferred — and because pledges are fulfilled over five years, a commitment made today is what lets that work begin before the centennial rather than after it.

What is Rooted & Rising?: Rooted & Rising is a $1.5 million campaign to support St. Mary’s Parish and School, including our historic church, campus, ministries, and outreach. It looks ahead to the 100th anniversary of the dedication of our present church in 2028.
Is St. Mary’s celebrating its 100th anniversary?: The parish has served Mobile for more than 150 years. In 2028, we will mark 100 years since the dedication of our present church.
What will my gift support?: Campaign gifts will support priorities across St. Mary’s Parish and School, including care for our historic church, improvements to our school and campus, and support for ministries and outreach. We will share more detail as specific projects and costs are confirmed.
How is a campaign gift different from my regular offertory or school gift?: Rooted & Rising is a special commitment toward long-term parish and school needs. We hope families will consider a campaign gift in addition to the regular giving that supports St. Mary’s ongoing work.
Do I have to give the full amount now?: No. You may make a gift now or pledge an amount to be paid over a period of up to five years.
How often can I make pledge payments?: You may choose monthly, quarterly, or annual payments, or pay your pledge in full. Our team can help you choose a schedule that works for your family.
Can I give stock?: Yes. Please contact the Parish Office for instructions before transferring stock so we can identify and acknowledge your gift properly.
Is there a minimum gift?: No. Every gift is welcome, and families are invited to participate at a level that is meaningful and manageable for them.
